The "old timers" call them rain crows. They are usually quite invisible so was glad to catch this one in this sycamore tree

This one came from the nest that was high up in a tree. Never would have spotted him until Mom came to give him a bug to eat. Then he made all kinds of racket and I was able to spot him

I thought this was a cecropia moth but turns out it is a polyphemus moth. Poor thing got "hit" by a bird and was in bad way. WHen I went back later...it was gone
